Starlink order is finally confirmed and dish is on the way
We ordered as soon as we knew we could 2/9/2021 with a $99 dollar deposit. Last night, we got our email from Starlink to confirm. We paid our $499 and now our dish is on the way. 21st century we are finally here!! I feel like we won the lottery!! High speed internet is finally ours. Hughes Net got us by, but this is a whole new Universe of high speed connectivity. And, it's cheaper too. $99 a month instead of $130.

Its Here!! We have our starlink all set up. It was easy to get up and going. Bottom line, it is fantastic. Latency below 40ms, mps down 195 or more, 20 mps up.
Basically, we have the 1 gps cox plan down in the valley and now our response for everything here at Windy Ridge has been as good or better than what we get at home in the valley. Video calls, on line conferences, movies, everything is awesome. I would highly recommend signing up for it. It is a 99 dollar deposit. When the dish comes in, $499. Then 99 a month, unlimited data. Dish is rectangular, about the size of a large pizza box. As far as I know, there is about a year wait for your service here. We waiting a year from our deposit as well.
