Notification of Lien (not to worry)
Some have asked why a "Notice of Community Association Lien" has been posted in County records (#2021-09791). This is not a lien, rather it's only a legal notification of the fact we're an Association in which the payment of annual assessments is a condition of ownership. A delinquent assessment automatically becomes a lien on the property, whether recorded or not. Our attorney recorded this notice to be sure that Title Companies discover this information during a resale transaction to inform a new buyer accordingly, and to assure that any delinquencies are addressed before close of escrow.
