Very Disappointed
We have owned our property for 15 / 16 years now, and were on the board for approximately 11 of those years. We went to what was supposed to be a board meeting today, Aug. 5th. Since there were only 2 actual board members present, it was not an valid board meeting. At no fault of Julie or Sharon,who did both attend, it was without a doubt the most disappointing so called board meeting I have ever attended!! The President was not in attendance without notifying anyone in advance. This is absolutely not acceptable and a waste of everyone's time. Two other board members were also not in attendance, 1 with a previous notice and the other just a no show. This is totally unforgivable. We used to aways have a continuous few people complain about how we were running the board, but when confronted on a solution we never ever got any suggestions on how do do it better. Well I have a solution, the 2 of you that didn't attend todays meeting need to step down, sooner rather than later if you don't take the responsibility seriously. This is not the first time this has happened, and I am convinced it won't be the last.
I am located in PHX but own property in CCR. I don't attend the meetings because it's simply too far for me. However, is there recordings that can be sent out with the meeting minutes? Also, can reminders go out like a week before the meetings? I have tried to locate the invite within my email but couldn't find the latest zoom link. We are just about ready to begin our build out there. I went up there two weeks ago and the roads are looking great! Thanks for all your hard work and I hope to attend (at least via zoom for the next one). I agree with the lack of an IT person. There needs to be more communication via this site or at least for it to be updated periodically. Everything seems to be dated and no one is really taking care of updating the site.
