Open Meeting Law Cheat Sheet
As a FYI here is a cheat sheet for the Arizona Open Meeting Law for our Property Owner Association. As you can see, anytime a quorum (3+) of the board meets in person, telephonically, or electronically over email or zoom, (for whatever reason) we must have 48 hours advanced notice. This is to provide us with the opportunity to see what sort of fuckey they are up to. (like illegally changing our bylaws or approving shitty solar work) Even for executive sessions we must have a 48 hour notice. The only exception is an emergency meeting to discuss business or take action that can't be delayed until the next regularly scheduled meeting. Did you know the board meeting on 6-08-2024 to select the new board positions was not an emergency meeting and should have been 48 hour noticed as an open meeting? Well, you do now. 😎
