POA Expenditures
While we are all looking at the bylaws (as referenced in the prior post about ballots) I would like to clarify another topic of mis-information that seems to be of concern. Reference ARTICLE VIII
Duties and Powers of the Board. Items 6-10 specify financial items that the Board is responsible to maintain. These are normal, ongoing expenses and are NOT contingent on timing or approval of the annual budget. The budget is a useful and necessary planning tool for the Board and allows us to identify and plan for special projects, infrastructure expenses, etc. assuming revenues come in as anticipated. It is updated regularly and always available for every POA member to review. Also please review the 2021 year end statement. That will identify every expenditure as well as all revenue for the year. As always, this is YOUR money and we welcome feedback on how it is spent and what it is spent on.
